Hello everyone, I've recently been prescribed Zegalogue for severe hypoglycemia. I'm curious to know if anyone has experience with the 0.6mg/0.6ml autoinjector versus the 1.2ml version and if they can share their experiences. The instructions can be a bit confusing, so I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on using the device properly. Also, did anyone experience any of the listed side effects? How serious were they? Is there any preparation required before using the 0.6ml or 1.2ml autoinjectors? Are there any trade-offs between the two? Lastly, if you’ve had an allergy to any other medicines, how did it go? I look forward to hearing from you.

I would stay away from this stuff. I've tried other medications and they worked just fine. This one is a hassle and I'd rather avoid it.

Definitely listen to your doctor. I ignored some advice and ended up with severe nausea. Not fun.

I've had trouble with both versions, honestly. The 0.6mg/0.6ml is easy to use but the 1.2ml is more reliable for me. I still get nervous using it because I just know that I can't miss an injection if my blood sugar is low. I have had a couple of episodes where I couldn’t eat anything and I had to use the autoinjector.

I've been using the 0.6mg/0.6ml version for a few months now. It's been a lifesaver during low blood sugar episodes. With my older device, I wasn't really sure how to use it the first couple of times. After a few tries, I found it pretty easy to use and it's nice to have the autoinjector. I just place it against my thigh or arm and press down, and it does the rest. My biggest issue was the pain at the injection site, but it's manageable. I recommend practicing with the trainer device if you have one. It's worth the peace of mind.

I actually prefer the 1.2ml version. I've had some issues with nausea and vomiting but nothing too severe. My doctor warned me about the allergic reactions but luckily, I haven't experienced any. I'm always nervous about the high or low blood pressure symptoms, so I monitor my blood pressure closely.
