First-Lansoprazole 3mg/ml Susp 300ml: My Experience and Questions
I've been prescribed First-Lansoprazole 3mg/ml Susp 300ml for my persistent acid reflux. I've been taking it for a few weeks now and have noticed a significant reduction in symptoms. However, I've also experienced some side effects like headaches and occasional stomach pain. I've read about the potential for more serious side effects, which is a bit concerning. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Are these side effects worth it for the relief it provides? I'd love to hear from others who have tried this medication. Also, I've found that taking it with food helps mitigate some of the side effects. Anyone else have any tips for managing side effects?

What about long-term use? Anyone know if there are risks associated with taking this for years? I've heard it can affect bone density?
This medication has been a lifesaver for my ulcer. I haven't had any serious side effects, just the occasional headache. You should definitely take it with food to minimise side effects.
I've been on this for months and it's been a game-changer! The only side effects I've had are mild headaches, but they're totally worth it for the relief from acid reflux.
I've had some weird electrolyte imbalances while on this. Muscle cramps, weakness, and abnormal heartbeat. It's scary stuff. Make sure to monitor your symptoms closely and talk to your doctor about any concerns.
I've been on Lansoprazole for years and have never had any issues. I think the side effects are overblown. I've found it to be very effective and safe.
I've had a similar experience with the allergic reaction. I wish my doctor had warned me about the severity of the possible side effects. I ended up in the hospital with Stevens-Johnson syndrome, which was terrifying. If you start to experience any red, swollen, or blistered skin, get to a doctor immediately.
I switched to a different medication because of the crazy side effects. I would say first-lansoprazole isn't worth the risk. YMMV.
Stay away from this. I got terrible diarrhea and ended up with C. diff. It was awful and I had to take antibiotics for weeks to get rid of it. My doctor warned me about the risk, but I thought it wouldn't happen to me. Be careful!
