I heard Lansoprazole can increase the risk of vitamin B12 deficiency. Has anyone else been told to keep an eye on their B12 levels?
This medication is a bit of a relief for me as I had constant heartburn and stomach acid issues, but now I barely have any issues. It took a bit to feel the effects and I agree with the person above. I do experience headaches but it's manageable. Would recommend as long as you are aware of the side effects. Speak to your doctor if you have any concerns.
Seriously, if you're taking this medicine and feel any kind of severe stomach pain, go straight to the hospital. My friend had C. diff-associated diarrhea and it was terrifying. But the sooner you catch it, the better.
Has anyone experienced bone pain while on this medication? I've been feeling some discomfort in my joints lately and I'm wondering if it could be related.
