First time taking Imdur ER 60mg Tablets for angina – what should I expect?
Hi everyone, I was recently prescribed Imdur ER 60mg Tablets for angina. The doctor said it should help prevent chest pain by relaxing my blood vessels, which seems great. But I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the severe ones. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? Any tips or advice would be really helpful, especially around the common side effects like headaches or dizziness. Thanks in advance!

I thought I was having an allergic reaction at first, but it turned out to be something else. If you're not sure, better safe than sorry and go to the ER.
My doctor told me about the severe side effects, but I've never experienced them. Just pay attention to your body and don’t ignore any unusual symptoms.
I switched to a lower dose because the headaches were too much. Talk to your doctor before doing that, but it might help if you're feeling miserable.
I had some really bad headaches when I first started, but my doctor said that's normal. I just took a couple of ibuprofen, and it helped. Just don't stop taking the Imdur without talking to your doctor first.
I've had no problems with it. Take it with food and you should be fine. Good luck!_
Be careful with dizziness—it can hit you hard. Make sure you're sitting or lying down when you take it. Also, don't drink alcohol while on this med.
