I've been taking Fish Oil 1000mg capsules for a few months now, primarily to support heart health and reduce inflammation. I've read that the 1000mg refers to the total fish oil, not the active omega-3 content, which can vary by product. Has anyone else noticed a difference in their products? Also, I've been curious about the potential side effects. I've had minor issues with burping and an upset stomach, but nothing too severe. I've heard that severe allergic reactions are rare, but I'm still cautious. I want to know if anyone else has experienced similar issues or has any advice on managing the side effects. I'm considering switching brands soon, and I'm hoping to find one with higher omega-3 content. Does anyone have recommendations?

I take 2000mg daily for my high cholesterol. It’s made a significant difference. I have to be careful of the fishy aftertaste though. I've found that freezing the capsules helps with that.

Be careful with fish oil if you're on any blood-thinning medication. I had to stop because it was interfering with my Warfarin. But for those without that concern, it's great for brain health too!

I've been taking fish oil for years and love the benefits for my joints. I didn't know the 1000mg wasn't the active omega-3 content though, that's pretty misleading. I've had no major side effects, just the occasional fishy burp.

I'm trying fish oil for the first time. Any tips on how to take them without feeling nauseous? I've tried with food, but it still happens.

Be careful if you're pregnant or nursing. Always consult your doctor before starting any new supplement regimen. Safety first!

I've been taking fish oil for a while now and have never experienced any side effects, knock on wood. I think it's fantastic for reducing inflammation and keeping joints healthy.

I've switched brands a few times. The quality of fish oil can vary greatly. I've found that brands with higher omega-3 content tend to have better results. It's worth the investment.

I've been taking fish oil for my cholesterol and my doctor said I should also take it for my brain health. It's a win-win!

Remember, the quality of fish oil is super important. Look for brands that are third-party tested for purity and potency. It's worth the extra cost.
