I've been prescribed Fluocinolone Acet 0.025% Cream for my eczema, and while it's helped with the itching and redness, I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects. I've heard horror stories about topical steroids and I'm not sure if I should be concerned. Has anyone else had any bad experiences with this medication? I've also noticed some dryness and occasional stinging when I apply it. Is that normal? I've been using it for about 2 weeks now, and I'm just looking for some insight from others who might have gone through the same thing. Are the side effects common or am I just being paranoid? Any advice from anyone with experience would be greatly appreciated.

I've used this for my psoriasis and it worked great. No side effects to report but I've heard it can be different for everyone, especially if you have sensitive skin. My dermatologist recommended using a gentle moisturizer after applying the cream to help with any dryness.

I've had no issues with Fluocinolone. It's helped my dermatitis immensely. Just remember, everyone's skin reacts differently to treatments. What works for one person might not work for another.

If you're concerned, talk to your doctor. There are always other options if this one isn't working out for you. It might be worth trying a different steroid or a non-steroidal treatment.

I had a bad reaction to this cream. Within a week, I started getting really bad acne on my face. I had to stop using it and switch to a different steroid.

I've been using Fluocinolone for a while now, and while I've had some dryness, nothing too bad. Just make sure to moisturize well after application. I've also found that applying it at night and washing it off in the morning helps minimize irritation.

I felt like I was developing Cushing's syndrome. Gained a ton of weight in my face and upper back. It was terrifying. I had to stop using it right away and switch to a different treatment.

I switched to a different steroid because I kept getting these weird stretch marks on my arms. I'm not sure if it was the Fluocinolone, but it was the only change I had made, so it's possible.

Dryness and stinging are pretty common. Just make sure you're not using too much and that you're following the doctor's instructions. I've also found that using a humidifier in my bedroom at night helps keep my skin from getting too dry.

Just keep an eye out for anything serious like hives or swelling. If you notice any of those, get to a doctor right away. The dryness and stinging should be manageable with moisturizer and patience. Not worth risking your health over a little discomfort

If you're experiencing unusual symptoms, it's always a good idea to call your doctor. You should not be worrying about anything because your doctor is there to help you out if the symptoms are getting worse.
