I've been prescribed Fluocinonide 0.05% Cream 30gm for my psoriasis, and I'm a bit concerned about the potential side effects. The doctor assured me that it's quite effective but the list of side effects is a bit scary. I've read about things like Cushing's syndrome, adrenal gland issues, and even skin changes. I'm wondering if anyone here has used this cream and what their experiences were. I'm particularly interested in hearing about any severe or long-term side effects. I'm also curious about how to manage the more common side effects, like skin irritation and thinning of the skin. I've read that it's important to use the cream sparingly and to only apply it to the affected areas, but I'm still worried. Has anyone found any strategies to mitigate the risks? Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.

The side effects are pretty scary. I had a friend who developed Cushing's syndrome from long-term use. I felt like I knew what the risks were when I started using it, but having to watch her go through that was tough.

I had a friend who had an allergic reaction to this stuff. Swelling, rashes, the whole nine yards. It was scary. She had to go to the ER. Luckily, she's okay now but it was a close call. Definitely worth being cautious.

I had some pretty bad irritation when I tried this, but my doctor recommended using it with a moisturizer to help. I also cut down on the amount I used. It's not perfect, but it helps with the symptoms. I'm really hoping to get off it though.

I've been on this for a few weeks now and so far, so good. No big side effects, but I'm keeping a close eye on things. I've heard horror stories, so I'm taking it slow and following my doctor's instructions to a T.

I've been on this for a few months now for my psoriasis. I've been really lucky, haven't had any major issues. I do use it sparingly and stay in close contact with my doctor. I'm still on it, and it's been a game-changer. I think it's worth the risk, but I'm really careful about using it.
