I've been using Fluticasone HFA 220mcg Oral Inh for my asthma for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer. I no longer have to worry about sudden asthma attacks as much, but I've had a few side effects crop up that have me concerned. I've read the list of possible side effects, and some of them are pretty scary! Has anyone else experienced anything unusual or have any tips for managing the side effects? Also, I'm curious to hear from others who may be using Fluticasone HFA 220mcg. What has your experience been like? Do you have any advice for new users? I want to make sure I'm using this medication in the best way possible. Let's discuss!

I've had Cushing's Syndrome symptoms on this medication. Weight gain in the upper back and abdomen, moon face, severe headache. It's been awful. I'm switching to a different inhaler.

Just be cautious and honest with your doctor. If you notice something is off, don’t hesitate to ask for help.

This thread is a lifesaver! I've been freaking out about the side effects too. I've had some mild throat irritation, but my doctor said it's common and should go away with time. But what if it doesn't?

I've had similar issues and I've been lucky that it's only been some minor cold symptoms. I've had to do a lot of rinsing and gargling to deal with the mouth irritation, but it's been worth it to prevent my asthma attacks.

Be careful with this one. If you experience any signs of allergic reaction, seek medical help immediately. This is not a joke; anaphylaxis is potentially life-threatening. I saw someone else react poorly to the medication, so it's best to be cautious. I'm not sure how serious people take that advice sometimes.

I just started using it and I've had a couple of instances where I felt extremely tired and irritable. Is this normal or should I be worried? I feel like I got a couple of minor breaks in my skin from all this, and I'm not sure if it's related to the medication. I know it's worth it since it's preventing my asthma attacks, but I'd love to hear some constructive advice.
