I've been using Flutic/salmet 232-14mcg 60 Puffs for about a month now as part of my asthma management plan. It's been helpful in reducing my symptoms, but I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects. I've read about some pretty severe reactions, and while I haven't experienced any of them, I can't help but feel a little anxious. I'm curious to hear from others who have been on this inhaler for a while. Has anyone else had any issues, and if so, how did you handle them? Also, I'm wondering if there are any tips for managing the more common side effects, like throat irritation. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

I think it's important to remember that everyone's body reacts differently to medication. While it's good to be aware of the side effects, don't let fear stop you from using something that could significantly improve your quality of life.

Has anyone else noticed weight gain or changes in vision? I've been on this for about 6 months and I am experiencing both. Just wondering if it's a common side effect or if I should be talking to my doctor about it. Thanks.

Anyone know if there are any dietary restrictions while using this? I've been trying to figure out if certain foods might make the side effects worse.

I love how this has helped manage my symptoms, but I’ve had to cut down on my coffee intake. The rapid heartbeat side effect is no joke!

I've been on this inhaler for a few years now, and while it has helped manage my asthma, I've had some issues with throat irritation. I found that using a spacer helped a lot. It directs the medication to the lungs and reduces the amount that gets stuck in the throat. Also, rinsing my mouth with water after using the inhaler can help. Just be sure to spit it out afterward and not swallow it.

I find that my energy levels have increased since I started using this. It’s amazing how much better I feel. Just a heads up, if you’re feeling extremely tired or weak, that’s a sign to check in with your doc.

I just started this too, and I've noticed some mood changes, I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Not sure if it's the medicine or something else, but it’s a bit concerning.

I had a really bad reaction to this inhaler. I ended up in the hospital with severe breathing issues. It was terrifying, and I'm glad I didn't ignore the symptoms, but it really makes me question if this is the right medication for me.

This stuff is a miracle worker for my COPD. I used to struggle with shortness of breath all the time, but since starting this inhaler, I've noticed a huge improvement. Just make sure you use it regularly and don't forget your rescue inhaler. A friend of mine recently had an attack and forgot to carry it, ended up in the ER. Not fun!

Severe side effects are rare, but it's always a good idea to keep an emergency inhaler on hand just in case. Better safe than sorry!
