FML Forte Eye Drops: My Eyes Are On Fire! Anyone Else Experience Burning?
I recently started using FML Forte (0.25%) Ophth Susp 5ml for my eye allergies, and I've been experiencing some burning and stinging sensations. I'm wondering if this is normal or if I should be concerned. The doctor said it might happen but I was not prepared for it to be so intense. Anyone else have this issue, or any other side effects? I've read about some potential serious side effects, so I'm a bit worried. How long did it take for the side effects to subside for you?

I love using the drops, but they do sting a little. But I can't complain because they work so well. I'd rather have a bit of discomfort than deal with the constant redness.
I had no idea these drops could cause changes in taste but I just figured I'd report the strange feeling. Of course some of it is psychosomatic.
I had some irritation, but I think it might have been because I was using them too often. I cut back on the dosage and it got better. Just be mindful of how often you're using them.
I've been using FML Forte for a while now and haven't had any major issues. A little irritation at first, but nothing too bad. Just make sure you're using it as prescribed.
