I've been using Follistim AQ (600iu) 0.72ml for about a month now as part of my infertility treatment. So far, it's been a bit of a rollercoaster. I've had some mild side effects like headache and fatigue, but nothing too overwhelming. I've also noticed some irritation at the injection site, but it's manageable. I'm curious to hear from others who have used this medication—what were your experiences? Did you have any severe side effects like OHSS or blood clots? I want to make sure I'm prepared for anything. How long did it take for you to see results? I've been feeling a bit discouraged lately, so any positive stories would be appreciated. I've also noticed some changes in my mood, which I wasn't expecting. Has anyone else experienced this? Overall, I'm hoping this treatment works, but I'm also a bit anxious about the potential side effects. Any tips or advice from those who have been through this would be greatly appreciated. Anyone else have any funny or relieving stories about the whole process?

I had to stop taking Follistim because of OHSS. It was scary, but I'm glad I caught it early. If you start feeling really bloated or have severe abdominal pain, get to a doctor ASAP. It's not worth the risk. Make sure you watch for the signs and symptoms.

I had some pretty bad pelvic pain while on Follistim, but my doctor assured me it was normal. I think it's important to stay in close contact with your healthcare provider. How often do you check in with yours?

I've been on Follistim for a while and haven't had any major issues. Just some irritation at the injection site, but nothing I can't handle. I've been checking in frequently with my doctor. I think everyone who is going through this has a different experience. You should talk to your doctor about the changes in your mood.

I felt the same way at first, but it's important to stay positive. It took a few months, but it finally worked for us. I can share some tips if you'd like.

I've heard that Follistim can cause mood swings, so you're not alone there. Just make sure to talk to your doctor about it. Any reaction could be serious, so trying to manage it before it escalates is best. Are you eating well and staying hydrated? It can help a lot.

I had really bad irritation at the injection site. It got so bad that I had to switch to a different FSH medication. I went through so many needles and it was just too much. If it gets really bad, maybe talk to your doctor about a new medication. You might be able to switch.

I started with Follistim and never had any side effects. I was lucky. I'm surprised you haven't had any luck yet. Fingers crossed for you though! When did you start injections?
