I've been taking Fosamax 35mg for a few months now, and while I'm glad it's helping my osteoporosis, I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects. Has anyone else experienced any serious issues? Especially with regards to jawbone problems. The risks are scary, and I want to know if anyone else has had any troubles. My doctor didn't say much about these risks, but I've seen some alarming information online. Anyone else dealing with this?

I've been on Fosamax for years and haven't had any major issues. Just the usual stomach upset sometimes, but it's manageable. Don't worry too much, but always keep an eye out for any unusual symptoms.

I've been on various osteoporosis medications and Fosamax was the worst for me, I had severe muscle and bone pain, but it was all but gone when I switched to a similar drug. I wish more people talked about their experiences!

I got really bad heartburn when I first started taking Fosamax. My doctor switched me to a different medication in the same class, and it's been fine since. Don't suffer in silence—talk to your doctor!

I switched to a different osteoporosis medication after hearing about the jawbone problems. It's important to weigh the risks and benefits with your doctor.
