Fosrenol 500mg Chewable Tablets: My Experiences and Side Effects
I've been on Fosrenol 500mg Chewable Tablets for a few months now, and I wanted to share my experiences. As someone with kidney disease on dialysis, keeping phosphorus levels in check is crucial. Fosrenol has been effective in binding to the phosphorus in my food, but I've experienced some side effects that I think are worth discussing. If you're on this medication or considering it, I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences as well. Has anyone else had issues with severe constipation or stomach pain? I've had a couple of scares, and I want to know if I'm alone or if this is a common issue. Also, I've heard that some people report being able to ignore Fosrenol. Is there any truth to that, or is it just a placebo effect? I'm curious about the science behind it, if anyone has any insights. If you have any tips or advice on managing the side effects, I'd be grateful to hear them.

I've heard that some people chew the tablets instead of swallowing them whole. Does anyone know if that makes a difference in how the medication works?
I've had a few allergic reactions to medications in the past, so I'm always on high alert. I haven't had any issues with Fosrenol, but I make sure to take it with plenty of water. If anything happens I need the water to help wash it down if I start feeling weird.
I think Fosrenol is a lifesaver. I've heard people talk about ignoring it. I don't know what they're talking about because it does not do well in my body. I would never ignore it because it's so important to my health.
I'm glad I found this thread. I'm starting Fosrenol soon and I'm a bit nervous. It's reassuring to know that others are going through the same thing.
I had to stop taking Fosrenol because of severe constipation. I was in so much pain that I had to go to the ER. Be careful and listen to your body.
I've been on Fosrenol for awhile now and while it works well I do suffer from horrible diarrhea. If you find any side effects make sure to tell your doctor so they can monitor you.
I didn't know about the FDA reporting system. Thanks for sharing! I'll make sure to report any side effects I experience.
As a nurse, I can confirm that Fosrenol is commonly prescribed for dialysis patients. It's important to monitor for side effects and report them to your healthcare provider.
