I've been prescribed Gablofen for managing my spasticity due to a spinal cord injury. I'm curious to hear from others who have used this medication. How has it helped your symptoms? Have you experienced any serious side effects or just the more common ones? I'm particularly interested in hearing about long-term use and any tips for managing the side effects. Thanks for sharing your experiences!

I've had some issues with the pump itself. It's a bit of a hassle, but the benefits outweigh the inconvenience. Make sure to keep an eye out for any signs of infection around the pump site.

My mom had this treatment for her spasticity but she just couldn't handle the side effects. She quit it after 3 months. I wish it worked for her, she really suffered.

Gablofen has been a lifesaver for me. I was in constant pain due to muscle stiffness, and now I can finally get some relief. Just make sure to follow your doctor's instructions closely. My doctor told me to call immediately if I experience any chest pain or severe dizziness.

I've been on Gablofen for about 5 years now. Yes, the initial adjustment was tough with some serious dizziness and even fainting spells, but my neurologist adjusted the dose, and now I'm doing great. I can move around so much better, and the pain has decreased significantly. Just make sure to keep an open line of communication with your doctor.

I'm new to this and have my first dose coming up. I'm nervous but hopeful. What are the chances of some of the more serious side effects? Also, any tips for the first few weeks?

I just want to warn others, if you have any breathing problems whatsoever, don't mess around, get to medical professionals immediately. I ended up in the ER due to shallow breathing.

I had no idea this medication was delivered directly into the spinal fluid. That sounds scary! How does the pump work exactly? I'm just curious.
