I started taking Gefitinib 250mg Tablets a few months ago for my lung cancer treatment. Initially, I was really nervous about the side effects, especially after reading the long list of potential issues. However, I'm happy to report that my experience has been relatively mild so far. The most noticeable side effects for me have been dry skin and mouth sores, but my doctor was able to prescribe some creams and rinses to help manage them. I also experienced some fatigue, which I've tried to combat with regular light exercise and a balanced diet. I'm curious to hear if anyone else has had a similar experience with Gefitinib or if there are any tips for managing the side effects more effectively. Also, please share your experiences with Gefitinib and how it has affected your life. My doctor did mention that Gefitinib works by blocking the EGFR protein, which helps in slowing down the growth of cancer cells. This information was really reassuring for me, knowing that the medication is actively working to combat the cancer.

I'm really glad I found this thread. I've been feeling a bit down about my treatment, but reading everyone's experiences is really encouraging. Thanks for sharing, everyone!

I've been on Gefitinib for about a year now, and while I've had some side effects, they've been manageable. The most challenging part was dealing with the diarrhea, but my doctor helped me adjust my diet and medication to control it. It's been a journey, but Gefitinib has definitely helped slow down the cancer growth.

I'm really concerned about the eye problems listed as a side effect. I've had some vision changes and I'm not sure if it's related to the medication. Has anyone else experienced this?

My experience has been pretty good, honestly. I've had some rash issues but it was more of a nuisance than anything else. I used a hydrocortisone cream and it cleared up in a couple of days.
