I've just been prescribed Gimoti 15mg Nasal Spray for my diabetic gastroparesis. Has anyone else used this? I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones. The list is long and scary! What has your experience been like? Do any of you have tips for managing the side effects or navigations side effects with your doctor?

I took it for a week and then stopped. The side effects were just too much for me. I ended up feeling worse than before. I switched to Reglan and it's been much better. Everyone's body reacts differently, so if one medication doesn't work, don't be afraid to try others.

Just started it and feeling a bit nauseous. Not sure if it's the medication or just my gastroparesis acting up. Anyone else experience nausea?

I had a really bad reaction to it. I experienced some serious swelling and had trouble breathing. I had to go to the ER. It was terrifying. Ended up switching to a different medication. Be careful and pay attention to your body.

I'm on my second week and so far so good, no major side effects. Just a bit of fatigue, but nothing too bad. Fingers crossed it stays this way!

The side effects list is indeed scary, but my doctor assured me that serious reactions are rare. I've been on Gimoti for a few months and haven't had any major issues. Just some mild headaches and a bit of dizziness at first, but that went away.

I've been on Gimoti for about six months now and it's been a game-changer. My gastroparesis symptoms have significantly improved. I did have some muscle twitching at first, but my doctor adjusted my dose and it went away. Definitely worth talking to your doctor if you're struggling!

Nausea was one of the first side effects I had. It went away after a week or so. Stick with it for a bit, but if it persists, call your doctor. They might adjust the dosage or switch you to something else.
