Recently started taking Glyburide/Metformin 2.5/500mg tabs for managing my type 2 diabetes. It's been a rollercoaster of experiences. Initially, I felt some relief with my blood sugar levels, but then the side effects hit hard. I've been dealing with constant stomach problems, and the fatigue is unreal. Has anyone else had similar issues? How do you manage them? Also, I've heard some scary stories about lactic acidosis. Should I be worried about this? Any advice on how to navigate this medication would be greatly appreciated.

I feel you on the fatigue. It's brutal. But I've found that staying hydrated and eating smaller, more frequent meals helps a bit. Good luck!

I've been on Glyburide/metformin for about six months now. At first, I had some minor issues, but they subsided after a few weeks. Just make sure to follow your doctor's advice closely and communicate any issues you have.

Take it easy with Glyburide/Metformin. It might take some time to adjust your dosage and find the right balance. Also, monitor your blood sugar levels regularly, and if you experience any allergic reactions. This is super crucial

What was the dosage prescribed to you initially? I feel like that might make a difference in the severity of the side effects.

Low blood sugar is no joke. I had an episode where I couldn't tell if I was coming or going. Always keep some glucose on hand!
