I'm starting fertility treatments and my doctor prescribed Gonal-F Redi-Ject. I've read the side effects list and I'm a bit concerned, especially about the potential for blood clots. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'd love to hear about your journey, any side effects you dealt with, and how you managed them. Also, what did your injection sites look like? I've heard the injections can be painful, but is it manageable? Any tips or tricks for making the process easier would be greatly appreciated. Did anyone experience mood changes or have a hard time dealing with the mental side of fertility treatments? Lastly, what are your thoughts on the risk of blood clots and severe lung problems?

I felt so helpless when I was first diagnosed with infertility. But taking Gonal-F was a step towards fixing it. The medication worked better than I ever hoped for, and I'm currently in my second trimester. Stay hopeful, everyone. You will get there one day.

I heard Gonal-F can cause some serious side effects. Has anyone else experienced any of the severe ones like blood clots or lung problems? I'm really worried about that.

OMG, the mood swings are real! I felt like I was on an emotional roller coaster. But the injections were surprisingly easy. Just make sure you're using the right technique. My clinic had a nurse show me how to do it properly, and it made a big difference. Also, keep an eye out for any signs of OHSS. It's scary, but catchable early if you know the signs. Good luck! You got this!

I wish someone had told me about the mood swings before I started. It was a rough few weeks, but I made it through. Just remember, it's okay to have bad days. It's all part of the process.

I've been on Gonal-F for a while now and the injections are honestly the least of my worries. The side effects can be tough, but my doctor was really good about monitoring everything. I had some irritation at the injection site at first, but it went away with some topical cream. Stay on top of your symptoms and don't hesitate to call your doctor if something feels off. I also had some shortness of breath during my treatment and turning it into my doctor right away so they could adjust my dosage. Early intervention made a big difference. It's a challenging process, but stay positive and keep communicating with your healthcare team.

The biggest thing that helped me was having a support system. My partner was there every step of the way, and it made all the difference. Plus, I found a lot of comfort in talking to other women going through the same thing. Don't be afraid to reach out and build your own support network. You'll need it!

Just wanted to share that I took Gonal-F for a few weeks and didn't really experience any side effects aside from some mild fatigue. I had a little bit of pain injection wise but nothing I couldn't handle. And, no irritation, bruising, and swelling. I had a good experience with it, but everyone is different. It's worth checking in with your doctor regularly to make sure everything is going okay.

I was on Gonal-F for a few months and it was a bit of a rollercoaster. The injections themselves weren't too bad—just a small pinch. But the mood swings were brutal. One day I was fine, the next I was crying over anything. Also my injection sites were fine — no irritation, bruising. Make sure you rotate sites to avoid any issues. As for the blood clots, my doctor said the risk is low but to be aware of the symptoms. I never had any issues. Stay hydrated, eat well, and listen to your body. It's a tough journey, but you're not alone.

I had some pretty bad irritation at the injection site, but it went away after a few days. Just make sure you're rotating sites and using the right technique. It's also worth mentioning that I got acne all over. It wasn't too bad, but it was annoying. Thank goodness it cleared up after I stopped taking it.
