I recently had a CT scan and was given Iopamidol 61% Sdv Inj, 15ml. I was a bit nervous going into it, but the actual injection seemed to go fine. After the scan, I felt quite warm and a bit dizzy. I didn't have any severe side effects, but I'm curious if anyone else has had similar experiences? Can anyone share their experience — even if it was mild? It would be great to know if this is fairly common.

I got the warm feeling too, but it only lasted for a few minutes. I was told it was just my body reacting to the dye. Nothing to worry about.

Be careful with these dyes. They can cause some serious issues. I had a friend who ended up with kidney problems from a contrast dye. Always make sure to drink plenty of fluids after the procedure.

Ask your doctor for more details on the side effects. Medical professionals can give far more detail about what's happening in your body than we can give online. If I were you, I'd just Google it and see what comes up.

Just remember to let your doctor know about any symptoms, even if they seem minor. I had a friend who felt like that and it turned out to be a minor allergic reaction. Better safe than sorry!

I had a similar experience. The feeling of warmth and dizziness is actually quite common with contrast dyes like Iopamidol. It's usually nothing to worry about, but definitely mention it to your doctor.
