Had an eye exam today and was given Cyclogyl 2% Ophth Soln 2ml eye drops. Anyone else use these? Any tips?
So, I had an eye exam today and the doctor gave me Cyclogyl 2% Ophth Soln 2ml eye drops. I've never used these before, and I must admit, the side effects list is a bit scary. The drops made my vision blurry and sensitive to light for several hours, which was really inconvenient. I'm curious if anyone else has used these and if you have any tips or advice for managing the side effects? Also, are there any long-term effects someone should be aware of if you use them regularly?

I had a bad reaction to these drops once. I started seeing random colors and shapes. Scared the hell out of me. Don't worry if you feel confused or see things that aren't there, go to the doctor immediately.
My (f)il told me its not safe for blook pressure patients
Why would a doctor give this if the side effects are so bad? I had the drops and felt numb in my eye and could barely see. I had to close my eyes for a few hours.
I was given these drops after cataract surgery. The blurred vision and light sensitivity were intense, but my doctor said it was normal. Just be cautious and follow your doctor's advice if you are recommended to use it. I wish I had a warning about the side effects.
I had a weird sensation like my eye was twitching. I thought maybe the dropper touched my eye. But I guess it was just the medication.
