I recently had a CT scan with Omnipaque 300mg/ml Injection. It's a contrast dye used to get clearer images of organs and blood vessels. During the scan, I felt a warm sensation and a mild metallic taste, which the doctor said was normal. I've since experienced some mild discomfort and am curious to know if anyone else has had similar issues after this procedure. Specifically, I'm wondering about more unusual side effects and how long they might last. Any insights or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated! #Omnipaque300mg #MedicalSideEffects #ContrastDye.

I'm not sure if I've read any scientific articles on this stuff, but it's interesting to hear everyone's experiences. It seems like Omnipaque can have some pretty varied side effects. I've had X-rays that required contrast dye, but I can't remember experiencing these symptoms. How do you guys feel?

I had Omnipaque a couple years ago and I got really bad nausea and vomiting afterwards. It was awful. I thought it would go away on its own, but it lasted for a whole day. Check with your doctor if you're feeling sick like that. Also, make sure to drink lots of water so the dye doesn't settle in your kidneys.

I had an MRI with Omnipaque dye and I felt completely normal, no side effects. My friend had it and experienced an upset stomach for a day. Maybe it depends on the person or the dosage.

I had a CT scan last year and the dye made me feel really warm and flushed. It was a bit scary because I didn't know what to expect. The nurse assured me it was normal, but it was a lot more intense than any warm flush from coffee.
