I've recently started taking Hailey FE 1.5/30 Tablets 28s for birth control and I'm curious to hear from others who have experience with this medication. The package insert lists a lot of potential side effects, but I'm interested in real-world experiences. Does anyone have insights on how common or severe the side effects are? Additionally, I'm curious to know if anyone has experienced any issues like headaches, weight gain, or changes in menstrual periods. It’s a bit overwhelming to read about all the possible side effects, but real-life experiences can be so much more comforting. How do others manage the side effects? I'm also wondering if the iron in the last 7 pills is noticeable to anyone else, or if it just helps with general anemia prevention.

Be careful with the sun exposure warning, it’s real. I got some weird dark patches after a day at the beach without sunscreen. It was a pain to get rid of, but eventually it faded with consistent skin care and sun protection. But really, just wear sunscreen!

Try to bypass some of the more serious side effects by taking your pill religiously every day at the same time. I forget often but I’ve had no issues with it so far. I’m not sure if it’s just luck or what, but consistency seems to be key.

I have a friend who had to switch off Hailey because of bad migraines and depression. It’s a bummer, but makes me thankful I don’t experience those side effects.

I love that the last 7 pills have iron. I used to take a separate vitamin, but this makes it so much easier.

I've heard good things about Hailey FE 1.5/30, but I'm still nervous about the blood clot risks. Has anyone had any issues with that? I feel like the information out there can be kind of scary.

I had some really bad headaches at the beginning, but they went away after a few weeks. I think my body just needed to adjust. I’d recommend sticking it out for a bit before making a decision. If the headaches persist, though, definitely talk to your doctor.

I had some cramping in the beginning but avoided exercise and it went away. Also, my periods are lighter now, which is a huge plus.
