I've recently been prescribed Haloperidol 2mg tablets for schizophrenia, and I'm doing some research, any advice? I've heard some scary things about the side effects, but my doctor assures me they're rare. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? What should I look out for, and are the side effects as bad as they seem? I want to be prepared but also hopeful that it will work for me.

I’ve been on Haloperidol for a while, and honestly, the side effects are not as bad as they sound. Some drowsiness and a bit of restlessness, but nothing I can’t handle. It’s definitely helping with my symptoms, and I’m glad I stuck with it.

I had some issues with hallucinations while on this medication. It was a weird experience, but my doctor helped me manage it, and it got better. Just make sure you have a doctor who is responsive and knowledgeable.

I agree with the above, I had a good experience, but it took a bit of tweaking to get the dosage right. I did have some fatigue at the beginning, but it’s manageable now. Just stay in touch with your doctor, and you’ll be fine.

I had a really bad reaction to Haloperidol. I got really dizzy and even fell a couple of times. The doctor switched me to something else, and it's been much better. If you feel any of those side effects, don't hesitate to reach out for help.

I think the biggest thing is to be patient. It takes time for your body to adjust to any new medication. Just keep track of how you're feeling and talk to your doctor regularly. Good luck!

My brother was on this medication, and he had some pretty bad side effects like stiffness and shaking. It might be worth exploring other options if it gets too tough to handle. Always good to have a backup plan.

I had to switch to a different medication because of the sexual side effects. It was devastating, and it took a toll on my relationship. Just be aware of that possibility and talk to your doctor about it. You don't have to suffer in silence.

I've been on Haloperidol for a couple of years now, and it's been a game-changer for me. The side effects were rough at first, but they subsided after a few weeks. Just make sure to stay in close contact with your doctor and report any issues right away.
