Haloperidol is often prescribed for managing symptoms in severe cases such as schizophrenia, Tourette's syndrome, and severe behavior problems. It helps balance certain natural chemicals in the brain, reducing hallucinations, delusions, and agitation. However, it is also known to have some of the most severe side effects. This thread is for those considering or currently on Haloperidol to share their experiences, concerns, and insights with others. It would be helpful to have a discussion about the side effects, so others can be aware. Always remember to consult your doctor if you have any questions or concerns. This is a no judgement zone. Please share any information you think may help others.

I had a really bad reaction to Haloperidol. I ended up in the hospital. Total nightmare. I'm so glad I'm off it. I was vomiting, passing out, and had yellow skin and eyes. It was scary.

I find that it makes me restless and anxious. It's tough to deal with, but my doctor says it's better than the alternative. Anyone else have this issue?

I had to stop taking it because it made me feel so tired all the time. I couldn't even get out of bed to go to work. It's a bummer. But I guess everyone is different. Just wanted to share, so that others can be aware.

I wish I could say the same. I've had terrible side effects like uncontrollable shaking and stiff muscles. It's been a nightmare. Looking into alternatives.

I had no idea this medicine could cause so many problems. I'm glad I found this thread. Going to talk to my doctor about it. Thanks, everyone.

I was on this for a while. It helped with the delusions, but I gained a ton of weight. It was horrible. It messed with my hormones too, but that wasn't the worst part. I was a zombie. Just laying on the couch watching TV. I didn't care about anything. It was a nightmare
