I've recently been prescribed Lisdexamfetamine 20mg for my ADHD. I've heard it can help with focus, attention, and impulse control, which is great. However, the list of potential side effects is quite concerning. Has anyone had any serious issues while taking Lisdexamfetamine? Specifically, I'm worried about the more severe side effects like serotonin syndrome or heart problems. I'm trying to weigh the benefits against the risks, and any personal experiences or advice would be really helpful.

Has anyone actually had an allergic reaction to it? I'm a bit paranoid about that kind of stuff.

I've been lucky with it. No major side effects, just some mild stomach issues. But everyone's different, so be careful.

Serotonin syndrome is no joke. Make sure you're not taking any other medications that could interact badly. I had a friend who ended up in the ER because of it. Better safe than sorry!

I had to switch to a different med because Lisdexamfetamine made my heart race. It was so bad I thought I was having a heart attack. Luckily, my doctor caught it early.

Sorry you're dealing with this. I was on Lisdexamfetamine for a while and it helped a lot, but I had to stop because it made me feel really jittery and anxious. It's tough because the benefits can be amazing, but the side effects can be hard to handle.
