I've recently started taking Rebif Rebidose 44mcg/0.5 Inj, 0.5ml for my multiple sclerosis, and I've been hit hard by the flu-like symptoms. I know it's common, but I'm wondering if anyone else has tips for managing these side effects. I've heard that taking it right before bed helps, but I'm also curious about other strategies. Are there any other side effects I should be on the lookout for? I'm particularly concerned about the more serious ones like liver problems or depression. Has anyone else dealt with these?

I had a similar experience. I found that using a heating pad on the injection site can help with the pain and soreness. Also, if you're taking Rebif, you'll likely be monitored for liver function and depression, so don't hesitate to talk to your doctor if you notice any concerning symptoms.

You'll get through it; just remember why you're doing this. It's tough, but it's worth it in the long run.

I feel like my doctor didn't warn me enough about these side effects. I knew they were possible, but I didn't realize how rough the first few weeks would be. Just be prepared, I guess.

I haven't had any severe side effects, but I'm keeping an eye on my liver function and blood cell counts. It's a good idea to keep regular appointments with your doctor to monitor these things.

Are these flu-like symptoms worth it? It's tough to deal with them, but I guess it's better than having a relapse.

I've had some weird side effects that I'm not sure are related to Rebif. I've noticed my hair falling out a bit and I'm feeling really shaky. Could this be related?

I've been on Rebif for a few months now and the flu-like symptoms were brutal at first. I started taking Tylenol about 30 minutes before my injection and it helps a lot. Also, make sure to stay hydrated and get plenty of rest. It gets better with time!

This discussion is helpful, but I'm concerned about the long-term side effects. Has anyone had experience with pulmonary hypertension? I'm worried about that one.

I've been on Rebif for a while and I've noticed that my mood swings have been really intense. I've had to talk to my doctor about it, but it's definitely something to watch out for. I also found that keeping a journal of my symptoms has been really helpful.
