I've had no issues with Carteolol, but I did have some eye irritation. It was manageable, but if it gets worse, definitely switch!
I switched to a different beta-blocker because the burning sensation was unbearable. It's worth discussing alternatives with your doctor.
Remember the side effects are just as important as the benefits. If it's too uncomfortable, talk to your doctor!
