Has anyone else experienced severe side effects from Minipress 2mg Capsules (Prazosin) ?
I was prescribed Minipress 2mg Capsules for high blood pressure and have been taking them for about a month. I've heard about some serious side effects before taking it. I have noticed some dizziness and fatigue, but nothing too alarming. However, I'm a bit worried about the potential for more severe side effects, especially the ones related to allergic reactions and persistent erections. I tried researching, but I couldn't find much from actual experiences. Has anyone else had any serious reactions or know more about these side effects and how common they are? I would appreciate any insights or advice from those who have experience with this medication.

I switched to a lower dose and it helped with the side effects. Might be worth talking to your doctor about adjusting your dosage. Also, make sure to avoid alcohol while on this med—it can make the dizziness a lot worse.
I take it for my enlarged prostate and works like a charm. Hasn't caused me any major issues. Just don't stand up too quickly, or you'll feel a bit lightheaded.
Does anyone know if the dizziness goes away over time? I'm on week 3 and it's still pretty bad.
I've been on Minipress for a while now, and I've had some dizziness, but it's manageable. Never experienced anything serious, though. Just make sure to take it at bedtime to minimize the dizziness. Also, keep an eye on that blood pressure!
My doctor prescribed Minipress for my PTSD nightmares, and while it helps a lot, the first few times I took it, I felt like I was walking in a dream. Definitely don't drive or operate heavy machinery right away.
I've been on this for years and never had any issues. Just make sure to take it as prescribed and don't skip doses. Consistency is key with this medication.
