I was recently prescribed Mondoxyne NL 75mg Capsules for a severe acne breakout. I've been reading up on the side effects, and some of them sound pretty scary, like increased pressure in the brain and pancreatitis. Has anyone else taken this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Were the side effects manageable? Did you experience any of the more serious ones? Any tips for dealing with the side effects would be greatly appreciated!

I had to stop taking this because of severe dizziness. It was scary, and I couldn't even drive. I switched to a different antibiotic, and it was fine. If you feel lightheaded or dizzy, tell your doctor right away.

Antibiotics always mess with my stomach. I just take it with food and a probiotic. I've had no issues so far. Just listen to your body, and you'll be fine.

Doxycycline is a strong antibiotic. Just follow your doctor's instructions, and you should be fine. If you experience any severe side effects, don't hesitate to call your doctor or go to the ER. Better safe than sorry!

I've been on this for a couple of weeks now, and honestly, it's been okay. I get a bit of an upset stomach, but nothing too bad. Just take it with food, and you should be fine. Much better than the acne I had before.

I was worried about the brain pressure thing, but my doctor assured me it's very rare. Just keep an eye out for any vision changes and you should be fine. My acne cleared up in no time!

Be careful with this one. I had a friend who ended up in the hospital with pancreatitis. It's rare, but it happens. If you get any severe stomach pain, go to the ER right away. Also, make sure to stay hydrated. Antibiotics can mess with your gut bacteria, so drink plenty of water and maybe take a probiotic.

I had a really bad reaction to this. I broke out in hives and had trouble breathing. Turns out I was allergic. If you notice any signs of an allergic reaction, go to the hospital immediately. The risk is not worth it.

I got really bad diarrhea when I was on this. I thought it was just a normal side effect, but it turned out to be CDAD. I had to go to the hospital and everything. If you get bad diarrhea, don't just take Imodium—call your doctor.
