Has anyone else experienced severe side effects from Niferex Tablets?
I've been taking Niferex Tablets for a few weeks now, and I'm starting to worry about some of the side effects I've been experiencing. I know that these tablets are supposed to provide essential vitamins, but I've been having some pretty bad stomach cramps and my stool color has changed to green which is making me feel uneasy. I've read about the possible side effects, but I'm not sure if what I'm experiencing is normal or if I should be concerned. Has anyone else had similar experiences with Niferex Tablets? Should I be worried about the possibility of more severe side effects? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!

I work in a pharmacy and we've had a few people complain about stomach pains, but nothing too severe. A lot of people don't realize that these supplements can be just as potent as any other medication and should be taken with care. If you're experiencing sharp pains or any of the more serious side effects like vomiting blood, you should go to the ER immediately.
I switched to a different brand after experiencing some weird side effects with Niferex. I didn't have the green stool thing, but I had some other stuff that wasn't fun. Might be worth trying something else if it's really bothering you. Consult your doctor though, obviously.
I've been taking Niferex for years and never had an issue. But then again, everyone's body reacts differently to supplements. If you're really worried, maybe try a different brand or talk to a registered dietitian about getting your vitamins through food instead.
I've been taking Niferex for about a month now and haven't experienced any side effects so far. I know everyone is different, but it might be worth talking to your doctor just to be safe.
Green stool? That's normal with iron supplements. My doctor told me not to worry about that, but definitely talk to yours about the cramps. Might need to adjust the dosage or switch brands.
