Has anyone else experienced severe side effects from Pioglitazone/metformin 15-500mg Tb?

i know this is a bit off topic but im really confused about the dosing. On the bottle, it says take one tablet in the morning and one in the evening. But my doctor said take two in the morning. Whats the correct dosage?
I've been on this medication for a while and I've had no issues. I've heard that it can cause weight gain, but I've actually lost a few pounds since starting it. I've also noticed that my blood sugar levels have been more stable. It doesn't hurt to try different medications if you are not happy with the side effects.
I had terrible stomach issues when I started taking this. Vomiting 3-5 times a day. I called my doctor and they recommended taking the pills with food. That helped a lot.
