Has anyone else experienced severe side effects from Precose 100mg Tablets?
I was recently prescribed Precose 100mg Tablets to help manage my type 2 diabetes. The doctor explained that it works by slowing down the digestion of carbohydrates, which helps keep my blood sugar from spiking after meals. However, I've been really nervous about the potential side effects, especially the urgent ones like allergic reactions and liver problems. Has anyone else taken this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Were the side effects manageable, or did you have to stop taking it? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

I had a really bad allergic reaction to Precose. Swelling, rashes, the works. I had to go to the ER. Not worth the risk in my opinion.
I had to stop taking Precose because of severe stomach pain and diarrhea. It was awful. I switched to Metformin and it's been much better.
I've been on Precose for a couple of years now, and I haven't had any major side effects. Just some mild gas and bloating, which I can handle.
I've been on it for a year with no issues. Just be mindful of what you eat and when you eat it. It really helps if you space out your meals and snacks.
I had to stop taking it because of the diarrhea. It was unbearable. My doctor switched me to something else, and I felt so much better. But everyone's different, so maybe you'll be fine.
I've been on Precose for about six months now, and honestly, the side effects haven't been too bad. I get some gas and mild stomach pain, but it's manageable. Just make sure to follow your doctor's advice and monitor your blood sugar levels closely.
