I started taking Prenatal Plus Multivit+ DHA 2 Step a few weeks ago as recommended by my doctor. Initially, I was thrilled to find a supplement designed specifically for pregnant women, providing essential vitamins, minerals like iron and folic acid, and DHA for brain and eye development. However, I've recently been experiencing some alarming symptoms and I'm not sure if they're related to the supplement or if something else is going on.

I've had occasional constipation and stomach pain, which are listed as possible side effects, but I've also been dealing with a low-grade fever and unusual dark stools. I'm not sure if this is normal or if I should be worried. I'm definitely going to call my doctor but wanted to see if anyone else has experienced anything similar with this supplement.

I had initially looked up online reviews and Prenatal Plus seemed like the right choice for me but now I wish I had done more research on the potential side effects. I'm hoping to hear from other mothers who've had similar experiences or doctors who can provide some insight.

I've been taking this for a few months now and haven't had any issues. Maybe it's something else causing your symptoms?

You should definitely call your doctor immediately—better safe than sorry.

I had a 100 fever and I thought it was Covid19 and my doctor gave me the all clear with a blood test.

I had to get checked if I had an iron allergy. But I didn't have it and I was very relieved. I’m hoping you’re okay and not having a serious reaction.

I just started taking this and feel like I have a constant upset stomach. Is that normal?

I had the same issue with the dark stools—turns out it was just the iron. But call your doctor right away if you have any fever or severe pain!

I stopped taking this supplement right away after having allergic reactions. My skin was red and itchy, and it almost felt like I was having a fever. I switched to a different prenatal vitamin and haven't had any issues since. In my opinion, just go with something else if you're having bad side effects

I didn't have any problems with this one but one of my friends did. She had to switch because she was getting really bad stomach cramps. My advice is to switch immediately and talk to your doctor asap.

I took my friend to the hospital and she was vomiting blood and saying she saw dark blood in her stool. This scary experience was because of the supplement she was taking.
