Has anyone else experienced severe side effects from Profilnine 500iu Inj, 1 Vial?
I was recently prescribed Profilnine 500iu Inj to treat my Hemophilia B, and while it has been helping with the bleeding, I've been experiencing some serious side effects. I wanted to know if anyone else has had similar experiences, particularly with severe allergic reactions or blood clots. If you have any insight into managing these side effects or have had to deal with them yourselves, please share your stories and advice here. I'm looking for any tips on how to reduce these side effects and make the treatment more manageable.

I've heard some people switch to different brands or formulations of Factor IX concentrates if they have bad reactions to Profilnine. Maybe talk to your doctor about other options?
I had a severe allergic reaction to Profilnine last year. It was terrifying—total itching and swelling all over. I ended up in the ER and had to switch to a different treatment. If you're experiencing anything like that, go to the hospital immediately.
How long have you been on Profilnine? Sometimes side effects go away after your body adjusts, but it can take weeks. Hopefully, you'll find some relief soon.
I feel your pain. I've had issues with blood clots, which is terrifying. I found It can sometimes help to stay hydrated and avoid sitting for too long. Always consult a doctor, though.
I had a mild tingling feeling in my hands and feet at first, but it went away after a few infusions. You should see a doctor if it doesn't improve.
I ran into some issues with upset stomach and vomiting. It can be harsh but try small, frequent meals that are easy to digest. Ginger tea can help too.
