I've been taking Quinapril 10mg Tablets for a few weeks now to manage my high blood pressure. Overall, it seems to be working well, but I've been feeling pretty dizzy lately, which is listed as a less severe side effect. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or any of the more serious side effects and how they dealt with them. The list of possible side effects is quite long, so it's a bit worrying. Has anyone had to stop taking it or switch to something else due to the side effects?

The severe side effects are the reason I'm always nervous about taking new meds. But so far, so good with this one. Just a bit of lightheadedness at first.

I've been really lucky, no side effects at all. But I do keep an eye out for any changes just in case. It's always better to be safe.

I had a really bad reaction to Quinapril. I started getting this persistent dry cough that just wouldn't go away. Ended up switching to something else. Definitely worth talking to your doctor if you're having issues.

I switched to a different medication because the persistent cough was driving me nuts. But for some people, it seems to work just fine. Everyone's different, I guess.

My mom had some kidney issues while on Quinapril. It was scary, but they caught it early and she's doing fine now. Regular check-ins with your doctor are a must.
