I recently started taking Silodosin 4mg Capsules to manage symptoms of an enlarged prostate, but I've been experiencing some alarming side effects. I want to know if anyone else has had similar experiences and what they did about it. The medication was prescribed by my doctor to help with frequent urination and difficulty starting urination. So far, it has helped with those symptoms, but I'm now dealing with severe dizziness and fainting spells, which are listed as urgent side effects that require immediate medical attention. I've also noticed that my orgasms are different, with reduced or absent semen. I'm not sure how to proceed because I don't want to stop taking the medication if it's helping my prostate, but these side effects are concerning. Has anyone else navigated this? I'm reaching out to see if anyone has advice or similar experiences. I plan on calling my doctor, but I want to be informed before I do.

Sadly, that is the impact this medication has on some. The trade off is that you do feel better in the department of frequency and urgency, but the way it affects the ejaculatory system is drastic. I know a few guys who just went back to dealing with the BPH trouble rather than suffer the effects. I hope it works out for you though bro, just don't ignore these side effects.

I've been taking Silodosin for a year now, and I haven't had any severe side effects. Just some occasional dizziness, but nothing unbearable. It's definitely helped with my urine flow and reduced my need to go to the bathroom at night. Maybe it's just a matter of giving your body time to adjust?

I've been on Silodosin for a few months now, and while it's helped with my BPH symptoms, I've experienced some dizziness as well. It's not as severe as what you're describing, though. Have you talked to your doctor about adjusting the dosage?

I stopped taking Silodosin because of the dizziness. It was terrifying to pass out like that. I switched to Tamsulosin, and it's been much better so far. Maybe talk to your doctor about alternative medications?
