I was recently prescribed Pioglitazone/Metformin 15-850mg Tb to help manage my type 2 diabetes. The doctor assured me that this combination of drugs, which helps control high blood sugar, is quite effective. Pioglitazone assists my body in using insulin more efficiently, while metformin reduces the sugar production in my liver and intestines. However, I've been experiencing some concerning side effects, and I'm curious if others have had similar experiences. The urgent side effects mentioned are rare but potentially life-threatening, so I'm particularly worried about symptoms like allergic reactions, bone pain, and changes in eyesight. I'm also concerned about common stomach problems and the risk of lactic acidosis, which can be serious if not addressed promptly. Low blood sugar and severe liver problems are also worries, even if rare. I'd appreciate hearing from others about their experiences with this medication.

I've had a few episodes of low blood sugar. Always carry glucose tablets or hard candies with you. It’s a lifesaver!

I’m curious to know if anyone has experienced changes in eyesight. I have, and it's been a bit alarming.

I experienced some pretty severe allergic reactions when I first started taking this medication. I had to stop immediately and switch to something else. If you're feeling any of those symptoms, don't wait—get to a doctor ASAP.

I've been on this combo for a while and have noticed some stomach issues, but nothing too severe. Make sure to stay hydrated and eat smaller, more frequent meals. It helps a lot with the upset stomach.

I developed some occasional bone pain, but it was mild and got better over time with magnesium and calcium supplements. Doc said it could be linked to metabolic changes.

A friend of mine had to stop taking this because of frequent urination. Just be aware that side effects can vary widely. Everyone's body reacts differently.

I switched to this medication a few months ago and have had some weight gain, but it's manageable. The biggest issue for me is the fatigue. It's like I'm always exhausted, but my blood sugar levels are finally under control.

Remember, everyone's body responds differently to medication. The best thing you can do is keep an open line of communication with your doctor and report any side effects immediately.

I'm on my second week and feeling great so far. Blood sugar is down, and no noticeable side effects. Fingers crossed it stays this way.

This med has been a game-changer for me. My blood sugar levels have stabilized, and I haven't had any major side effects. Just some minor stomach issues that went away after a few weeks.
