I've been taking Skelaxin 800mg for the past week to manage muscle spasms from a recent injury. While it has helped with the pain, I've been experiencing some unsettling side effects like dizziness and severe stomach pain. I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar experiences or if these are normal reactions. Should I be concerned, or is it just part of the process?

Additionally, I've read about the potential for serious side effects like serotonin syndrome. Has anyone had any issues with that, or knows more about the risks?

I'd love to hear from anyone who has taken this medication and can offer some insight or advice.

Don't worry, it's just the muscle relaxant working its magic on your nervous system. You should be fine.

I've had muscle pain for years and I can't stand the drowsiness from this medicine, but it really reduces the pain!

I had a bad reaction to Skelaxin last time I took it. Went to the ER with hives and swelling. Definitely call your doctor.

I've had stomach cramps before, but nothing severe like that. You might want to check with your doctor just to be safe.

I've been on Skelaxin for a while now and it's been great. No side effects for me, but everyone is different. Keep an eye on those symptoms and talk to your doctor.

Skelaxin helped me a lot, but I definitely felt more drowsy than usual. Just make sure you're not operating heavy machinery or driving.

Severe stomach pain is not normal. You should definitely call your doctor about that. Better safe than sorry!

Just a heads up, if you take it with other meds, it might cause serotonin syndrome. Best to talk to your doctor about it.

If you're feeling any chest tightness or shortness of breath, go to the ER right away. That's a sign of an allergic reaction and you need immediate medical attention.

I had the same issue with dizziness, but my doctor said it was normal and would pass. Stick it out for a few more days and see if it gets better.
