I've been using Triamcinolone Ace 0.05% Ointment for a couple of weeks now to treat my eczema, and while it's helped with the itching and redness, I've been having some worrying side effects. I've started to notice some thinning of the skin on my arms and legs, and I'm concerned about what this could mean. I haven't had any of the urgent side effects like trouble breathing or severe nausea, but I'm still anxious. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? Are these side effects going to go away, or will they continue to get worse? I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with this medication, both good and bad. If you know how to deal with thinning skin or any other side effects, please share your advice. Of course, I have to be cautious about my health, and I've talked to my doctor about all this. In the meantime, any personal stories or tips you have would be greatly appreciated. I'm just really curious to know how widespread these side effects are and if there are any steps I can take to mitigate them. I'm grateful for any insights or shared experiences.

Corticosteroids can be a double-edged sword. They work wonders for inflammation but can cause issues like thinning skin over time. Always use the smallest amount necessary to manage your symptoms.

Be careful with this stuff. I had a bad reaction and ended up with a weird rash all over my body. I think it might be different for everyone, though. I don’t know what to do but I’m glad I found out at least.

I've heard horror stories about this stuff. I tried it once and I looked like a mummy!

I wish there was a better alternative. This stuff worked for my eczema, but the side effects were just too much.

I've used this ointment before, and I did experience some thinning of the skin, but it went away after I stopped using it. Just make sure to follow your doctor's instructions and don't overuse it.

I found that switching to a different corticosteroid helped me avoid the side effects. However, it might not be as strong as Triamcinolone.

I've been using this ointment for years for my eczema flare-ups, and I've never had any side effects. It's been a lifesaver for me.

This has been a game-changer for my psoriasis! I do experience some slight thinning but so far, it's manageable. Just make sure you talk to your doctor.
