I've been prescribed Ultravate 0.05% Ointment for my psoriasis, and while it seems to be helping with the redness and itching, I can't shake the feeling of unease about the potential side effects. The list of urgent side effects is terrifying, and I'm not sure what to do if I start experiencing any of them. Has anyone had similar concerns or experiences with this medication? It's reassuring to know I'm not alone. Any tips on how to manage the side effects would be great. Also, is it normal to feel a bit of burning or stinging after applying it?

I wish they'd make a version that doesn't have all these scary side effects. It works great, but at what cost?

I had a horrible allergic reaction to this stuff. Swelling, hives, the works. Had to go to the ER. Definitely not worth the risk, in my opinion.

Don't forget to check the expiration date. I made the mistake of using an old tube and ended up with a nasty infection. Lesson learned the hard way!

I didn't know about the high blood sugar symptoms. Good to know, thanks for the heads up. I'll definitely keep an eye out for those. I feel silly for not checking the side effects list before using it.

I think the key is to use it sparingly. My doctor told me to apply a thin layer and not to use it more than twice a day. It's strong stuff, so less is more. I'm sure it's made a huge difference for my psoriasis.

I don't really have any advice, but be careful and always check with your doctor. They're there for a reason. Better safe than sorry!

I've been lucky and haven't had any major issues. Just a little dry skin here and there, but nothing I couldn't handle with some lotion. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

I've been using Ultravate for a while now, and honestly, the burning sensation goes away after a few minutes. But I did notice some thinning of my skin after a few weeks. I'd keep an eye on that.

I think it's crazy how strong this stuff is. It's like pouring steroids directly on your skin. I've heard stories about people getting Cushing's syndrome from it. Scary stuff.

I've had some weird skin changes, like stretch marks and hair growth. Not sure if it's from the Ultravate, but it's definitely something to keep in mind.
