Has anyone else experienced severe side effects from Vivlodex 5mg Capsules for osteoarthritis?
I was prescribed Vivlodex 5mg Capsules to manage my osteoarthritis pain. The drug has been effective, but I'm concerned about the potential side effects. I've read that even the Next-Gen NSAIDs can have some severe issues. I'm looking to connect with others who have experienced similar concerns and hopefully have improved their knee pain. I've been on Vivlodex for a few months now, and honestly, I've had a lot of common issues like stomach pain and occasional nausea. I take it with food and that seems to help reduce stomach pain most of the time.
I was put on Vivlodex for a short period, but I couldn't take the vision changes and the extreme dizziness. I wish the doctors would give you the pamphlet of side effects before you get the prescription.
I've found that taking Vivlodex with food helps with the stomach issues. But honestly, the more concerning issue is kidney problems I've been dealing with since I started Vivlodex. I'm really worried about those problems and how to prevent further damage. Anyone else know how common this kidney stuff is?
I had a pretty bad experience with Vivlodex. I started having trouble breathing and my face and lips were swollen. Thankfully, I was with someone at the time and they got me to the hospital immediately. I won't be taking it anymore
I wish I'd known about the potential for liver problems before I started taking Vivlodex. I had some dark urine and nausea, and it turned out my liver enzymes were elevated. I'm on a different medication now.
Don't hesitate to seek medical attention if something feels very off. My friend ended up in the ER because of Vivlodex, and they were able to stabilize her quickly. It could have been an emergency a lot worse if she didn't go to the ER.
I've had to avoid NSAIDs completely due to kidney problems. I've been on other pain management options like Tramadol, I have heard it helps with pain, but I haven't had a life score improvement from it.
I've had some throat pain and tightness. Is that something I should be worried about? Haven't had to deal with side effects like swelling or kidney issues yet. Fingers crossed for no major problems.
