I've been prescribed Formoterol 20mcg Inh Sol 60x2ml for my COPD and have been noticing some interesting side effects. I've had some headaches, dizziness, and even a bit of shakiness. I've been using it for about a month now and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced similar side effects. These could be quite manageable, but I want to see what others have to say. I've also been doing my research and have seen a lot of potential side effects, some life-threatening. The problem is that a lot of these seem like they can be either minor symptoms or something dangerous. The fear of confusion is real. I will also mention that I've been using a rescue inhaler to make sure I am safe in case the side effects get serious, even if I haven't really needed it yet. Is this normal to have some of these symptoms or should I contact my doctor?

Formoterol has been a lifesaver for me. I've had some mild side effects like dry mouth and anxiety, but overall, it's made my breathing so much easier. I've been using a humidifier to help with the dry mouth; it's a game-changer! I've been worried about all the side effects myself, but I've just been lucky so far. I also keep a rescue inhaler but haven't really needed it yet.

I don't know much about Formoterol, but I know that it is a long acting bronchodilator. This means that it is designed to open up your airways for an extended period of time. I know this is helpful for people with COPD, but it is also important to be aware of possible side effects.

I've been on Formoterol for a while now and I haven't had any major side effects. A few headaches here and there, but nothing too serious. Make sure you're using your rescue inhaler as a backup, just in case. Always better safe than sorry.

Has anyone else had issues with high blood sugar? I've been feeling really thirsty and exhausted lately, and I'm not sure if it's the medication or something else. I feel a bit confused and worried especially because the symptoms can be so serious. I wonder if this is common?

Be careful with the shakiness – that could be a sign of low potassium levels. Make sure to monitor your potassium intake and talk to your doctor about it. If it gets worse, you might need to adjust your medication or diet. It's also not uncommon to have issues with sleep disturbances. I've heard of people using melatonin to help with that.

Just a heads up, but I've heard that Formoterol can cause severe breathing problems right after taking a dose. If you start feeling worse, use your rescue inhaler and go to the doctor immediately. I had a friend who had to go to the hospital because of this, so better safe than sorry.

If anyone else gets the feeling of high or low blood pressure. Please be careful. The signs are things like severe headache, dizziness, fainting, or changes in vision. Symptoms can be quite dangerous and it is important to monitor yourself closely.

I've been using Formoterol for a few months now, and while I've had some side effects, I think the benefits outweigh them. It's really helped with my breathing, and I feel so much better overall. Just make sure to keep an eye on your symptoms and talk to your doctor if anything feels off. And keep your rescue inhaler nearby, just in case. It's always good to have an emergency plan.
