I was recently prescribed 0.088mg Levothyroxine for hypothyroidism and have been taking it daily on an empty stomach. I've noticed some side effects that my doctor didn't mention. Has anyone else experienced anything unusual? I'm trying to figure out if these side effects are normal or if I should talk to my doctor again. Also, how long does it take for your body to adjust to this medication? Appreciate any insights!

I've been on Levothyroxine for a few months and I've noticed some weight gain. I've also been getting bad headaches and feeling really tired, but I'm hoping it's just a phase. It's been a struggle, but I'm trying to stick with it. Has anyone else felt like this after a few months of use?

I've never had any serious side effects, just some mild digestive issues. I've been taking mine with food and it seems to help a lot, didn't want to get up and eat every morning either. The price is insane, but I've heard that there are generic forms that might be cheaper. Stay away from the pills, the capsules are so much better, trust me.

I've been on Levothyroxine for a year now and honestly, it's been a game-changer. I used to be so tired all the time, and now I have energy again. I did have some side effects in the beginning, like feeling restless and anxious, but they went away after a few weeks. I've been told to keep taking it today without food.

Ugh, I've been dealing with weight gain and muscle weakness like crazy. I thought this was supposed to help me? I'm so frustrated as it took a long time to get adjusted to it. I need some advice!

I've been on Levothyroxine for about a year and seeing some weight loss, but I think it's because I have more energy to exercise. I've noticed that my appetite has changed too, but it's not always easy. It can be tough to manage, especially if you're not used to it.
