Has anyone else had a negative experience with Brimonid/timol 0.2/0.5% Op Sol 15ml eye drops?
I have been prescribed Brimonid/timol 0.2/0.5% Op Sol 15ml eye drops for my glaucoma and ocular hypertension. The doctor said it contains brimonidine and timolol to lower the pressure inside my eye and prevent damage to my optic nerve. I've only just started using it, but I'm already feeling some discomfort. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I'm worried about the potential side effects like allergic reactions, heart problems, or changes in eyesight. This works better than any other meds I used for glaucoma. They cause side effects initially but lessen as you go. As long as you aren't experiencing severe pain do not stop the meds, speak with your doctor. My fingers got numb as a side effect but it went away within 3 days. I stopped taking it and experienced an attack - so I would rather deal with numb fingers than blindness.
I've been on these drops for a while and it really helped my glaucoma symptoms. Just follow the doctor's advice and report any sudden changes in your vision or health.

I had a really bad reaction to these drops, including severe allergic symptoms and chest pain. I ended up in the ER. Definitely not worth the risk for me, I think.
