I have been prescribed Brimonid/timol 0.2/0.5% Op Sol 15ml eye drops for my glaucoma and ocular hypertension. The doctor said it contains brimonidine and timolol to lower the pressure inside my eye and prevent damage to my optic nerve. I've only just started using it, but I'm already feeling some discomfort. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I'm worried about the potential side effects like allergic reactions, heart problems, or changes in eyesight. I've been experiencing mild eye irritation so far, but I'm hoping it gets better. I'm curious to hear about other people's experiences with this medication. I decided to research it because I have a family history of heart issues and I want to ensure this is the best choice for me.

This works better than any other meds I used for glaucoma. They cause side effects initially but lessen as you go. As long as you aren't experiencing severe pain do not stop the meds, speak with your doctor. My fingers got numb as a side effect but it went away within 3 days. I stopped taking it and experienced an attack - so I would rather deal with numb fingers than blindness.

I've been on these drops for a while and it really helped my glaucoma symptoms. Just follow the doctor's advice and report any sudden changes in your vision or health.

I've been on these drops for a while and they've been great. No side effects for me, but everyone is different. Just keep an eye on any changes and talk to your doctor.

I had a really bad reaction to these drops, including severe allergic symptoms and chest pain. I ended up in the ER. Definitely not worth the risk for me, I think.
