I've been prescribed Temovate 0.05% Ointment for my psoriasis, but I'm really worried about the side effects. The list of potential issues is massive, everything from allergic reactions to Cushing's syndrome to skin changes. How bad is it really? I'm pretty nervous about using this stuff. Anyone have some experiences they can share? I've heard the ointment is really strong and it can mess with your hormones. Is that true? I've heard the ointment can cause thinning of the skin. I'm really scared to start this medication. Could anyone share some positive experiences? I need some encouragement.

I've also heard that it can affect blood sugar levels. Anyone else deal with that? I have a family history of diabetes, so I'm really scared to start using it.

The side effects list is scary, but I've been using it for months and haven't had any problems. Just be sure to follow the instructions and don't overuse it. Also, make sure to talk to your doctor about any concerns you have. They can provide guidance and support.

I thought it was really helpful, but I had to stop using it because it made my skin too thin. I had to switch to a less strong steroid.

I’ve been on Temovate for a few weeks now, I need to get my prescription refilled. I've had some redness and dry skin, but nothing too bad. I'm just hoping it starts to work soon and my psoriasis clears up.

I used Temovate for a while and didn't have any major issues. Just some minor skin irritation. But I was careful to use it exactly as prescribed.
