I was recently prescribed Warfarin Sod 3mg Tablets (tan) to manage my blood clots. The doctor was very clear about the importance of taking it exactly as prescribed and getting regular blood tests (INR) to ensure my blood is thin enough but not too thin to prevent bleeding. I've been reading about the possible side effects and it's pretty scary. Has anyone else had major issues with this medication? I'm especially worried about the neurological symptoms and the rare but severe side effects like death of skin tissue. I want to make sure I'm not alone in this and that there are others who can share their experiences.

I've had a few episodes of extreme dizziness and tiredness. I noticed my INR levels were high and I had to adjust my dose.

I had a bad reaction once—got a rash and some hives. I called the doctor right away and I realized I forgot about my daily aspirin. We switched me to a different blood thinner and I had no issues after that.

I had to take Warfarin for a year, and I thought it was a nightmare. Trust me, I understand everyone's fears and concerns. But if you follow the doctor's orders, you'll be fine!

I've been on Warfarin for a bit and I've had no issues other than occasional nosebleeds. It's not a big problem though and I get my blood checked regularly.

The worst part for me is the constant monitoring. Make sure you keep a strict routine for your INR tests. I've made it a habit to check in with my doctor every two weeks. If you can find a small pill organizer, it makes it easier to manage.

I've been on Warfarin for years after a deep vein thrombosis, The side effects are scary but I've managed mine fine. Stick to your INR tests and don't change your diet or meds without consulting the doctor

Just be very careful with your diet. Certain foods can interact badly with Warfarin.

I had to switch off Warfarin because of persistent kidney issues. The doctor said it was a bit too risky for me. If you can, discuss the potential risk with your doctor and monitor your kidney function closely.

Well, looks like a few people have had some terrifying experiences. I hope we're all okay!

Don't worry too much. Listen to your doctor, take it regularly, and you should be fine. I tried to ignore the doc once and saw some scary side effects. Thought I'd lost it.
