Will this subsume the pain from my surgery? Or is this just for the worst of the worst? I'm on oxymorphone 10mg tablets for severe pain, but I'm getting hit with some bad constipation and gas. Does anyone have any tips for managing these side effects? I just want to know what I'm in for, and what I can do about it.

I'm not sure if this is a side effect, but I've been feeling really dizzy lately. It's been making it hard to do everyday tasks. Anyone else dealing with this?

I'm on 5mg and haven't had any issues with constipation yet, but I've been extra careful with my diet. Just be mindful of what you eat and drink plenty of water, you'll be fine.

What about the rash? I have had that and it was terrible. Have you seen that too? Ever since I saw the rash, I stay away from this medicine

I had to switch to a different pain med because the constipation was so bad. My doctor prescribed Senna tablets, and they seemed to do the trick. But I am still talking to him about this medicine.

Oxymorphone is incredibly strong, so it's no surprise that side effects can be intense. I used to get a lot of gas and bloating, but it subsided after a few weeks. Hang in there, it might get better.

I've been on this medication for a few months and I love it. The side effects are worth the pain relief to me.

I just started taking this medication and I'm terrified of the potential side effects. Has anyone experienced any long-term issues?

Why would you take something so old? The new meds are far superior its like you are taking horse medicine very old school

I've heard that some people have trouble passing urine while on this medication. Have any of you experienced that too?

I've been on oxymorphone for a few months now, and the constipation is no joke. I swear by Miralax and a high-fiber diet. It's made a huge difference. Drink lots of water
