Has anyone else had severe side effects from Fluconazole 200mg?
I've been prescribed Fluconazole 200mg Tablets for a yeast infection, and while I'm glad it's working, I've been experiencing some pretty intense side effects. I've read that it can cause some serious issues, but I wasn't expecting them to hit me quite like this. Has anyone else had similar experiences? I'm curious to know if these are just a temporary thing or if I should talk to my doctor about switching medications.

Side effects can vary from person to person. I had no idea it could cause such severe issues. Glad I had my phone on me to call the doctor while I was having trouble breathing.
I absolutely cannot stand the change in taste. It's like metal in my mouth. Makes me want to gag.
I had a seizure while on Fluconazole. It was terrifying and I ended up in the ER. Definitely talk to your doctor about it.
I've been on it for a few days and so far, no problems. Fingers crossed it stays that way!
I had a rash and severe dizziness. Stopped taking it and went to the hospital. Turns out I was having an allergic reaction. Be careful!
Be sure to drink plenty of water. It can help minimize some of the side effects.
