Has anyone else had severe side effects from Lamotrigine 150mg? What can we do?
I've recently been prescribed Lamotrigine 150mg to help manage my bipolar disorder. I notice that I need to be very cautious because of the risk of serious skin rashes and other severe side effects. Has anyone else had issues with this medication? Specifically, I'm worried about the low blood cell counts and immune system problems. What are your experiences with this drug? Any tips to avoid these awful side effects would be greatly appreciated!

I actually switched to a different drug because of the severe rash. It wasn't worth the risk for me. I recommend talking to your doctor about alternative treatments if you experience any serious side effects. Better safe than sorry!
Be really careful with this one. My friend had a bad reaction and ended up in the hospital. It was scary. I think it's important to stay in close contact with your doctor while on this medication.
Yeah, weight gain is a common side effect. Try to stay active and eat healthily. It might help offset some of the weight gain. Good luck!
I had some rash issues but it wasn't too bad. I just used hydrocortisone cream and it cleared up. If you can tolerate the dizziness, it does get better. I've been on it for over a year and it's been great for my mood stabilization.
