I've been using Brimonidine/Timolol 0.2/0.5% Op Sol 15ml eye drops for about a month now to manage my eye pressure and have noticed a few side effects. I've been consulting with my doctor about some of these, but I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced the same issues. The eye drops seem to do the job in lowering the pressure, but I have noticed some sudden episodes of shortness of breath and a couple of strange skin reactions. Has anyone else here experienced these side effects and how did you handle them?

Aside from the side effects, have you noticed any improvement in your eye pressure? It's important to weigh the benefits against the drawbacks. Unfortunately, it's challenging to find eye drops without any side effects.

I've been using similar drops for years and haven't had any issues. But I did have a friend who stopped using them because of strange rashes. Sounds like you should definitely talk to your doctor about switching medications.

If you're experiencing severe side effects, it's crucial to stop using the drops and consult your doctor immediately. Don't wait it out if it's something serious!

I experienced shortness of breath after starting these drops. It was scary, but my doctor said it's a rare but known side effect. I switched to a different medication and it went away. Definitely worth discussing with your doctor!

Also, were you already a bit out of breath before taking the drops? I know this sounds like a dumb question, but its a possibility. If the problem persists, tell your doctor and they can diagnose if it is a heart-related issue or a reaction to the eye drops.
